                    Our Goal

Our goal is to be a Fellowship of believers committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. To be a Covenant Community walking together into a total way of life that reflects God’s nature and ways. We desire this so that each individual can find his place in God, in home, in church and in society. We believe that the fulfillment of this goal must be a corporate endeavor requiring the cooperation and support of others equally committed to finding a positive and Godly alternative to the trends of today.

                    Covenant Community
There was once a community of people who were totally devoted to God. Their life together was charged with the Spirit’s power.  In that band of Christ-followers, they loved each other with a radical kind of love. They took off their masks and shared their lives with one another. They laughed, cried, prayed, sang, and served together in real Christian fellowship.  Those who had plenty shared freely with those who lacked. Social and economic barriers melted away. People related together in ways that bridged gender and racial chasms. They celebrated cultural differences. Acts 2 tells us that his church offered unbelievers a vision of life. A vision that was so beautiful that it took their breath away. It was so bold, so creative, and so dynamic that they couldn’t resist it. Verse 47 tells us that, “the Lord added to their numbers daily those who were being saved.”
                    Covenant Community

                    Definition of a Covenant Community
A community of God’s redeemed people:
                    • bound together in covenant love
                    • submitted to compassionate authority
                    • manifesting peace and holiness
                    • supporting family fidelity (expressed in revered fatherhood and manhood, cherished motherhood and womanhood, secure and obedient children)
                    A community where:
                    • loving correction and instruction produce healthy growth and maturity
                    • dedication to excellence produces the finest in crafts, trades, and commerce
                    • prosperity and abundance for all its members is provided
                    A community of:
                    • faith

                    • praise
                    • selfless ministry
                    • manifestation, individually and corporately, of the gifts of the Holy Spirit
A covenant community is a place where life is inspired and directed by the Spirit of Jesus Christ and is living to His glory as a witness and testimony to the Word.

                    Vision
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.”
“Give us a clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for, because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.” Peter Marshall

Vision is the ability of having foresight into something which is attainable to a person or a group. Vision is the product of God working in us. God creates the vision and we receive it. The vision becomes a goal toward which we move as His chosen people.

Vision is the Holy Spirit releasing a powerful force. It is shaping the life-flow and personality of the church.
                    Our Vision
                    Vision must be:
                    • Biblically Accurate. The Bible must be at the centre of our vision; not our personal ambitions and desires.
                    • Spiritually Grasped. We need to have a revelation of what God is saying. (Ephesians 1:17-19)
                    • Balanced. It must balance the purposes of God. It would include, as examples, worship, warfare and growth.
                    • Progressive. We need to move with the Holy Spirit by hearing what He is saying. Sometimes that will mean changing our methods or emphasis.
Understanding vision will help us to focus on purpose, not on institutional maintenance. The church will have a sure direction, an exciting climate, and an overriding sense of mission in direction proportion to the membership’s awareness of the church’s vision, and God’s eternal purposes.
